My name is Noel Limb, and I am a student at Los Alamitos High School. Bernard and I are working together to organize a one-day technology and entrepreneurship summit for 3rd through 8th graders. This will take place on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 from 8 AM to 5 PM on the campus of Cal State Fullerton.

Building Youth in Technology and Entrepreneurship (BYTE) will help students familiarize themselves with the various fields of technology as well as business and discover their importance in today’s world. Our event includes a multitude of activities, including workshops and exercises taught by both high school students and professionals from prominent technology organizations.

BYTE will cover educational yet easy-to-understand topics such as game and app design, robotics, 3D printing, design thinking, the basics of aerospace engineering, Junior Achievement (youth business), and applications in real-world problems. The activities involved with these topics are aimed to enrich the students’ grasp of modern applications of technology.

We know it’s a long labor day weekend, but we hope you register and join our free workshops and discussions!
